Timetables:[semester 1] [semester 2]

My PhD research was on the microstructures of synthetic and natural ferrites. This was followed by postdoctoral research on fracture and fatigue crack growth in structural ceramics at room and high temperature. Between 1989 and 1992 I worked at the National Physical Laboratory on problems associated with the mechanical testing and microstructural characterisation of structural and functional ceramics. My current research interests at QMUL are focused on the processing and electromechanical properties of functional ceramics, thin films and single crystals.
