The role of microstructure and chemistry on functional properties
This talk will cover a wide range of topics; gas-sensing; superhydrophobic surfaces; antimicrobial surfaces; photocatalysts and transparrent window coatings.
It will explore how microstructure is key in developing a meterials properties and how a combination of microstructure and chemistry can be used to understand and design better materials.
