Materials Research Institute Christmas Symposium

This year's MRI Christmas Symposium 2019 will take place on Monday 16th December, 1 - 6pm, in the 'Arts One' Lecture Theatre. This is an opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers to present their work to peers and senior colleagues in a friendly environment. The event will be followed by drinks and nibbles from 6pm in the Senior Common Room Bar, Queens' Building for those that can make it along.

And as it's Christmas, there will be prizes for the best PhD research presentation of the afternoon and the best poster, plus prizes for the runners up in Amazon vouchers.

The deadline for submissions for oral and poster presentations has now passed. There will be prizes for Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation (£100 Amazon vouchers), and two runner up prizes (£50 Amazon vouchers), will be awarded on the day.
