MRI research activity in materials for Healthcare applications has significant overlap with the Institute for Bioengineering and collaborations with the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Research activity includes dental materials, fibrous tissue engineering scaffolds, biointerfaces and drug delivery, while disposable biosensors for the detection of enzyme activities and diabetes are also developed.
